{"id":13443,"date":"2024-12-13T16:50:54","date_gmt":"2024-12-13T14:50:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ehpa.org\/?post_type=all-events&#038;p=13443"},"modified":"2025-08-10T22:57:56","modified_gmt":"2025-08-10T20:57:56","slug":"join-our-session-at-the-innovation-week-2023","status":"publish","type":"all-events","link":"https:\/\/ehpa.org\/all-events\/join-our-session-at-the-innovation-week-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"Join our session at the Innovation Week 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Join our session on<em>&nbsp;<\/em>\u201cDirect electrification of buildings\u201d which we are co-organising with Irena in the context of their Innovation Week, on 25 September between 15:30 and 17:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IRENA Innovation Week brings together leaders, experts, industry representatives, academics and policy makers to discuss cutting-edge innovations that can support and accelerate the global energy transition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2023, the event will build on previous editions in 2016 and 2018 which examined the decarbonisation of power systems and the integration of variable renewable energy, and the 2020 edition (held virtually) that discussed prospects for decarbonising end-use sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Innovation Week 2023 will continue this theme, with a view to expanding shared knowledge on&nbsp;<strong>Renewable solutions to decarbonise end-use sectors.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Supported by insights from IRENA\u2019s in-depth analyses, informed by first-hand project experiences, and drawing on the expertise of a diverse range of speakers and attendees, the event will explore the latest innovations to decarbonise a range of end-use sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In particular, discussions will highlight tangible solutions to decarbonise energy intensive sectors such as transportation, buildings and industry using direct and indirect electrification, whilst also offering access to a unique and diverse network of experts, industry leaders and decision makers from IRENA\u2019s 168 Members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The insights shared during IRENA Innovation Week will serve to identify priority actions to fully unlock the potential of renewable energy applications in end-use sectors, and to inform the Agency\u2019s recommendations and advice to its Members and the wider community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This event is organised in partnership with EHPA.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Join our session on&nbsp;\u201cDirect electrification of buildings\u201d which we are co-organising with Irena in the context of their Innovation Week, on 25 September between 15:30 and 17:00.
